US Army Plans To Ramp Up Drone Inventory

The US Army has recently told Reuters that it plans to purchase at least a million drones over the next few years. This comes as drones have played a crucial role in the Russia-Ukraine War, where they can be used to avoid anti-aircraft systems. I believe that this is great news, as many of America’s adversaries, such as Russia and China, produce and purchase millions of drones each year. This purchase by the US helps ensure the playing field is more level in the event of any future wars. Lawmakers are also attempting to create a drone factory in Texas for US drones, which helps, as almost all of the world's drones are made in China, including popular brand DJI, which is facing a ban. For more information on that ban, visit my blog entry. Thanks for reading today’s blog! See you soon!
