FAA Creates "No Drone Zones" for 2026 World Cup

The FAA announced temporary "No Drone Zones" around stadiums hosting World Cup events, including games, fan events, and training sites across the country. These new rules are designed to make sure that fans, players, and staff safe as one of the world's largest sporting events comes to America. On match days, drones will not be allowed near stadiums or other designated event areas without special authorization. Ignoring these restrictions comes with a hefty fine of up to $100,000, having your drone confiscated, and criminal charges.
