The US Marines recently rolled out their first 3D-Printed drone called HANX. What makes this drone special is that it is made with no parts from China, a recent goal of the US Military. As some of you may know, recently, the US banned new imports of Chinese drones, including the #1 Worldwide drone manufacturer, DJI. For more information on the DJI ban, check out my blog entry on that. The modular design of the drone allows it to easily switch between different roles. This is huge for the military because it allows them to rely less on defense contractors and be able to make drones on base! Thanks for reading, and see you soon!
